Ridgecrest 7.1 quake Friday July 5th. The movement even though Santa Clarita is so far away from Ridgecrest. The shaking had already stopped but it definitely had an impact.The quake the 1st morning July 4th 2019 I didn’t record . My brain went into “make sure I am ready” mode .Shoes on feet, dressed in what I wouldn’t mind my neighbors seeing me in. Keeping my pet safe etc. I have been in 2 magnitude 6 plus quakes in my lifetime and experienced being on top of the epicenter. Damage , no water, utilities for days, surrounded by condemned homes. Even after the quake the aftershocks are very unnerving.I feel for the people at Ridgecrest and Trona
